Urbanworks Engineering Corporation is a Canadian civil engineering consulting firm located in Toronto. Our dynamic team of engineering and management professionals has been proudly serving our clients since 2018. Our clients include land developers, businesses, public agencies, institutions and municipalities (local and regional) throughout southern Ontario.
About Urban Engineering
Urban Engineering, sometimes referred to as municipal engineering, deals with the planning, design, construction, maintenance and eventual decommissioning of society’s physical infrastructure. This infrastructure is comprised of systems and structures that keep a city functional, for example streets, sidewalks, sewers, water supply networks, municipal waste systems, stormwater management facilities, utility networks and various public amenities. Cities are economic engines. As their populations grow, so does the need for developing advanced engineering technologies for maintaining quality of life.
Where We Fit In
At Urbanworks Engineering, we develop solutions that directly impact quality of life in our growing cities. We design systems for rebuilding or replacing deteriorating urban infrastructure, supplying clean water, as well as treating and disposing of waste water. We also contribute to the sustainable redevelopment of existing land parcels and development of new subdivisions to accommodate population growth.
Within the civil engineering sector, we specialize in various fields of urban engineering, including grading design, servicing design, water resources engineering, environmental compliance, project management, and construction administration (tendering, inspections, post-construction services, assumption services). We strive to deliver practical engineering solutions through the creative application of scientific principles. We provide comprehensive services for a wide range of land development projects, from the planning stage into the operational stage.

Our firm holds a Certificate of Authorization from Professional Engineers Ontario to operate and provide engineering services in the Province of Ontario. We are proud members of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).
