Urbanworks Engineering Corporation is a Mississauga based civil engineering consulting firm serving clients across southern Ontario since 2018. Our engineers and project professionals have supported land developers, businesses, public agencies, institutions and municipalities with design, approvals, and construction delivery they can rely on.

Our role in land development
Urban engineering — also called municipal engineering — focuses on planning, design, construction, maintenance, and eventual handover of the infrastructure that keeps communities running: streets and sidewalks, water and sewer networks, stormwater systems, utilities, and public amenities. As southern Ontario grows, so does the need for engineering that is both technically sound and practical to build and maintain.
At Urbanworks, we design and upgrade urban infrastructure so development can proceed with reliable servicing and responsible stormwater management. From revitalizing existing properties to planning new subdivision blocks, our work supports communities as they expand.
Our services
Within civil engineering, our work includes grading and servicing design, water resources, environmental compliance support, project management and consultant coordination, and contract administration — including tendering, inspection, post-construction services, and subdivision assumption. We stay with assignments from early planning through operational handover.
Our approach
Every project begins with a clear understanding of your goals and constraints. We plan workload carefully, communicate directly, and give each assignment — large or small — the focus needed to meet schedule and agency expectations. Our aim is straightforward: sound engineering, fewer surprises, and designs that stand up in review and in the field.

Urbanworks Engineering is authorized by Professional Engineers Ontario to provide engineering services across the province. We are proud members of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).
